Paxos is a small part of the Ionian Islands. The Greek island is approximately 25 km2 and has about 2,300 inhabitants. Next to Paxos lies the island of Antipaxos, a small island of 5km2 with only 20 inhabitants. Antipaxos is covered in vineyards. In Greek mythology, Poseidon created Paxos by beating Corfu with his wooden fork so he and his wife Amphitrite could have peace and quiet.
