The anchor represents hope & safety. The heart represents love & charity. The dolphin represents gentleness & intelligence. In Greece, these three characters are very strong. Faith is primary Orthodox but there are also many Catholics in Greece and the island of Syros is one among some islands where Orthodox and Catholics live side by side and are good friends.
