Description

Krishna is the name of one of the supreme gods in Hinduism. Krishna is an incarnation of the god Vishnu – the highest Trimurtis (Trinity) keeping aspect. Krishna is a historical figure who lived about 3000 years BC. He participated in “The Great War” – Mahabharata – but he is also Vishnu (Ishvaras) avatar here on Earth. Krishna figure is a great mystery, because there are maybe three (possibly only two) Krishnas, namely the child Krishna, the most beloved of all Indian gods and avatar Shri Krishna from Bhagavad-Gita. According to tradition, Krishna is the eighth son of Devaki, who is the sister of Kampsa which is Krishna’s evil uncle. According to myth, Devaki’s eighth son must kill Kampsa. The story of Shri Krishna’s conception, birth and childhood is an exact parallel to the New Testament story of Jesus until the child murder in Bethlehem. Krishna is the eighth incarnation of the supreme god Vishnu in Hinduism.
